EMO-ENTRE: Emotions in Entrepreneurship 

Emotions evoked by entrepreneurship as a career choice: A road less traveled for enhancing science and engineering students’ business start-up. 

 

EMO-ENTRE (funded via ARISTEIA, project 2511) aims to:

vProvide an understanding of the emotive states evoked by entrepreneurship as a career choice among Greek science and engineering students.

vProvide explanations on the role of affect in business start-up of science and engineering students.

vDesign and implement specific emotional appeals (through audio-visual means) and investigate whether they have an impact on entrepreneurial propensity (e.g., attitudes and intentions) and desirability and feasibility of entrepreneurial activity of Greek science and engineering students.

 

 

EMO-ENTRE is an interdisciplinary research endeavor, which spans across Management and Social and Organizational Psychology.

EMO-ENTRE brings together researchers from the Technical University of Crete, School of Production Engineering and Management, Management Systems Laboratory and the University of Crete, School of Social Sciences, Department of Psychology.

EMO-ENTRE is supported by the “ARISTEIA” Action (“EMO-ENTRE” project 2511) of the “Operational programme Education and Life Long Learning” and is co-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and National Hellenic Resources.
